Ronald A. Brise was born on June 12, 1974 to Roland Brise, a Pastor with the 7 th Day Adventist Assembly for more than thirty (30) years and Nicole Henry, his wife for Thirty Six (36) years, herself a Professor for Thirty Five (35) years, at various Universities in the U.S., Argentina and Honduras, where she taught Math, Music and Spanish. She also served as a High School Teacher at Miami Union Academy from 1986 to 1996. She is currently the Director of the Women Ministry of the Southeastern Conference of the 7 th Day Adventists. Ronald has a sister, Carmina and he is married to Jo An Salomon, a Registered Nurse. Last February, Ronald and Jo An became the proud Parents of their First Born Son, Ronald Anthony Brise II. Ronald has resided in Miami-Dade County for the past Twenty Four (24) years. He attended High School at Miami Union Academy (established in 1917), where he was part of the Student Government, Co-Captain of the Basketball Team, Class Officer and Officer in Honor Society. He was nominated to “Who's Who Among America's High School Students” and was selected to represent the State of Florida at the Congressional Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. in 1992.

As an adult, Mr. Brise later returned to Miami Union Academy where he served as Chairperson of the Science Department, Sponsor for the Student Government, Basketball Coach, Trumpet Coach and Vice-President of the Teacher's Association. He is currently the Vice-President of the Miami Union Academy 's Alumni Association. Ronald graduated from Oakwood College in Huntsville , AL , with degrees in Biology and Biology Education. He later earned two MBA's, one in Marketing and the other in Management at American Intercontinental University . He is currently the Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of IPIP Corp., an international telecommunications carrier based in Miami , Florida . Ronald A. Brise is a member of several Professional and Civic Organizations that include: The National Science Teachers Association, The Adventist Science Educators Association, The Adventist Black Educators Association, The American Association for the Advancement of Science, the NAACP and the Haitian American Scholarship Fund. Mr. Brise has served as a Community Liaison for State House District 108 and he is currently a member of the Planning Commission for the City of North Miami . Mr. Brise's candidacy to State House District 108 is endorsed, among others, by the Honorable Philip J. Brutus, State Representative for District 108, the Honorable Mariette SaintVil, Mayor of the Village of El Portal, the Honorable Marie Erlande Steril, Councilwoman of the City of North Miami, the Honorable John Patrick Julien, Councilman of the City of North Miami-Beach, the Honorable Philipe Desrose, Councilman of the City of North Miami-Beach and the Honorable Jacques Despinosse, Councilman City of North Miami. |
